E-books are a good way to make passive income online. Most ebooks are fairly easy to produce. They can take anywhere from a couple of hours, days, or months to write. It all depends on the person, topic, or length of the ebook.
To create an e-book a person will need e-book software, a website, and a way to market their book. It sounds like a lot but once you have practice, it's easier.
The topic of your ebook can vary but quite a few very successful ones fall into the "How To" category. If you have an idea that does not fall into that category, don't let it stop you from creating an ebook and trying to sell it online. The best selling books are the ones from people who are passionate about their topic.
Audio Products
Audio Products are another way to generate passive income online. A person can easily commit their book to be any of these;

approach to life story,
career experience,
or love story
There's no limit to the different topics that can be made into an audio product. The audio might be a CD, tape, or USB storage. If you already have an e-book, then transcription would be a great next step. Generate more passive income,... create an audio product of your ebook idea!
There's a big market for audio products and it's growing. These days, a lot of people spend less time reading because they have less time to sit down. Some people prefer their information through audio products. As for the people who like to read, they might choose an audio version so they can listen while driving or working out.

Generating passive income through affiliate marketing programs has proven to be one of the absolutely easiest ways to get started with your online business.
